Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVED this book and cannot recommend it enough!!! I literally couldn’t put it down, and looked forward to coming home to curl up and soak in the gorgeous writing. I have already bought copies for friend and family because I don't even want to loan my copy to anyone.

In the simplest terms, her writing channels the deep reminder of the profound truth of our being and nature, in a time when the spiritual lifestyle seems to be for sale to the highest bidder. Like a great yoga class, the chapters seamlessly lead you deeper and deeper into yourself, until at last you are laying in final resting pose, soaking in the full experience of stillness and life.

This book is so much more than your typical ‘spiritual guidance’ book. It took me on a deep journey, holding space to let go and soak in the light, shifts and miracles it carries. Several chapters literally ‘clicked’ some things I had been struggling with for years into place for me as if by magic.

The author has a true gift for taking ‘spiritual’ concepts - think duality, the mind, ego, emotions, etc - and putting them into fresh and beautifully languaged insights so that they can absorb deeply and in a new way. I not only ‘aha-ed’ in agreement, but also in wonderment at what she would profoundly put into easy, digestible words. I even had a friend with no background in spirituality pick up my copy and order one after reading just one chapter!

I really can’t recommend this book enough. I felt like through these words I received a profound gift, that has shifted me into a deeper and more complete embracing and trust of myself and life. I can’t wait to see what else Tehya Sky shares with the world!

Incredible book, written so thoughtfully. I could read it again and again, just delightful.
I wish everyone I know, and everyone I don’t know could read this book. I have read many spiritual books by many of the great masters but this book blew me away.
As a yoga teacher, this book is making its way through my yoga students 🙂 I recommended it to one wonderful gentleman of 60-something, he immediately bought it on , and has been recommending it to everybody. Tehya's words resonate deeply and beautifully, making the spiritual practice accessible and enriching for all... bringing it into everyday life with beauty, poetry, and a call to recognize all of life as sacred. I know this will stay on my bedside table as an anchor and reminder I can return to time and time again.
Tehya Sky is an amazing writer. I highly recommend this book. A Ceremony Called Life is a beautiful and inspirational read. I bought a copy for my best friend because I know she will love it too. This book is the one I've been looking for my entire life. It hit on many different levels, answered many questions, and presents ideas & ways of thinking I never knew. Being present, capturing the mind, working through pain, etc... Tehya even convinced me I'm not a loser nor am I a failure at life, I'm only learning, as we all are.
I feel beautiful and would recommend everyone buy this book. We are all beautiful and this book, Tehya Sky, helps you remember that.

What I love about this book is that it's not your typical book on spirituality. Yes, it contains spiritual guidance for a society in need of letting go...,but what Tehya Sky illuminates in her book is how practical spirituality is. To Tehya, spirituality is not something for some people, or that spirituality is to be done in such and such a manor... The author shows us how spirituality is the perpetual experience of living an awakened life. She shows us how to be bravely aware, but most importantly she teaches us how to let go of limiting beliefs. Humbly, those limiting beliefs may be the supposed evolved new aged beliefs about "how to live a spiritual life. However Tehya, through her easy to read and often times poetic book, helps the reader step into their awakened self and teach us to let go of the expectations we place on ourselves on what it is to be awakened. Thus, through humble engagement with our experience we become who we truly are....

The book is well organized and easy to read. It contains enjoyable passages of experience and expressions of poetry. For the person who wants help engaging with the world, with both the mundane and the profound, this is the book for you. It is obvious that the author herself has walked the walk and not just talked the talk. I highly recommend this book.
