Chasing Justice Piper Anderson Series Book 1 edition by Danielle Stewart Romance eBooks Reviews

I am harshly critical about all the books that I read - that being said I was delightfully surprised by the fully-developed, well thought-out characters in this novel.

They all grew into completeness - there was no reading back to see what in the world the author was talking about when a character was mentioned or new character was introduced. I hate thinly written characters that seem like afterthoughts - there was none of this in the novel. The storyline was neat and well-organized. It was not overly sexualized - which frankly I am sick of these days. It has a great back story and some very loveable characters that I cannot wait to learn more about. I also found the storyline to flow nicely - nothing more annoying than a story that goes along and all of a sudden changes and I am left wondering how in the hell the author changed track so easily. Or how it got published. Not the case with this book at all - my only complaint would be that I have to wait for the next edition!

Overall, it was a great read and I look forward to the next in the series.
Too much plots and poorly written unfortunately the book ends unfinished and you would have to buy the next book for the continued story.
A story without an ending is not one I would purchase if I know beforehand. Nothing is resolved. This story really had undeveloped and unlikable characters. The heroine could be placed in the too stupid to live. I would not spend money on a follow-up book.
First, and maybe most 'no', is that this is another of those 'no ending' books; I'd think it would tick off other readers, too, but I guess someone's buying the follow-up. Second and third 'no' is a very contrived plot, and a heroine with a laundry list of awful things that made her the way she is. Fourth thru eighty-seventh is a cast of characters with absolutely no convictions -- neither the good nor bad guys (yes, the evil turn sweet). The most convincing are two consistent slime-balls. To top this all off, the heroine is just plain stupid! Maybe I am, too, for actually reading this whole book.
I started reading this book and didn't really get into Piper's character. Actually I really didn't like her at all but I kept reading. The story line started to get interested and just when I thought this book might actually have a good ending, it simply stopped. I like books that are in a series but I hate books that leave cliff hangers. The book stopped and resolved nothing. I will not read any more of this author's work.
If a book is just the start of the whole story, then I want that information BEFORE I buy the book. If a writer can't get the whole plot between the covers of one book, then the least the writer can do is forewarn readers/buyers. The best the writer can do is learn to be concise. Introduce the characters within a setting, develop the plot and characters and get to the climax of the story.
Don't leave readers hanging!
The book was interesting , and I enjoyed it until it ended abruptly and I would have to buy more books to finish the story line. I HATE authors that do this and I will never buy a book from this author again. I have no problems with series as long as they're complete within itself.
This dealt with social issues facing today's youth. Great read.
